Document Management

www.tcn-bhs.orgThis is a web based solution enabling users to upload, download and search the documents. Three types of roles are introduced including normal users, Managers and admin. Each file that is uploaded, needs approval by managers or admin before viewable to other users. The application contains the strong searching capabilities by searching on File Name, Tags, File type (Pending/Approved only for admin and managers) etc. Managers and Admin can see graphs to view the pending and approved files.

TCN Behavioral Health Services, Inc.

www.tcn-bhs.orgTCN Behavioral Health Services, Inc., is a non-profit organization that offers a wide variety of behavioral health and prevention services to adult citizens in Greene County, Ohio and surrounding counties. TCN needed a modern looking website with attractive layout to reach large number of residents of Miami Valley, Ohio. LTI developed the website and included a SQL Express database driven Career/Employment module to easily post and track jobs. We also integrated administrative pages for jobs management.

Lewis & Michael, Inc. Inventory Control System

Lewis & Michael Inventory control system provides end-user to manage data which includes Inventory, Vendors, Outlets and warehouses. This system also helps to perform manual adjustments and generate the End of Day reporting, in which archive records are created and added to the Archives. Lewis & Michael Inventory Control System was developed to automate day to day management of inventory while exchanging data with State of Ohio Division of Liquor Control (DOLC).

Primary source of data being fetched into the system is from the State of Ohio Division of Liquor System (DOLC) server. Users can manage the source data (retrieved from DOLC) once it is downloaded into the warehouse. The system supports the reporting module which facilitates user to view special order inventory and necessary details based on some criteria. End of Day functionality is implemented which makes adjustments to the system When all of the transactions necessary for a given day have been entered and released.

Production/Scrap Reporting System WALTHER EMC

The system facilitates end-user to add or review production and scrap data, and to compute “standard manufacturing hours” of production based on good parts produced. The scrap reporting system applies “standard manufacturing hours” to each process completed by manufacturing, by part number by machine.

A process is a machine process, an assembly process or packaging process. Complete Reporting system is made so that user can view the Scrap reports by different criteria. This system also facilitates the end user to calculate efficiencies of Operators, Machines, Parts and Month. In case the machine is down for various reasons, user can view the downtime reports that include the Downtime reason and number of hours the machine is down.

Dynamic Pension Services

It’s a quicker and easy way to make the distribution request. DPS is web based solution allowing employees to apply for the distribution request for Hardship, Termination, Loan and In-Service. These requests are sent to the particular employer for verification purpose. Once employer verifies requests, analysts from DPS performs further actions including approve activity, setting billable items, assigning outstanding loans, tracking paid fee and adding notes and alarms against each request. Employers can also request for all distribution activities plus the Death activity.

DPS has the admin portion where admin can add/update/delete DPS staff, employee, company, company contacts, company plans and brokers. DPS admin can see different types of reports and dynamically generated templates. This solution has also capability of branding and can run as hosted service.

Learning Management System (LMS)

Our LMS was developed on Active Server Pages (ASP) model for the purpose of managing and delivering courseware to the students over the Internet. In addition to delivering instructional media, the LMS was also automated to perform critical task of tracking student progress and validate performance for every course taken. We have deployed the LMS within Microsoft Site Server environment and one without it. All the managerial and student records were stored in a SQL database. The front-ends are built using HTML, VB and java codes. The LMS included the following four major components:

  5. Learning assessment by taking tests and quizzes

  5. Create, edit and save learning assessment modules

SYMVIONICS HR WBT

This project was for the development and deployment of SYMVIONICS Learning Management System (LMS) and “Sexual Harassment” web-based training course for SYMVIONICS Human Resources (HR) personnel to support their accomplishment of personnel training and compliance certification policy. The SMEs of SYMVIONICS provided the course content and the course was developed by LTI using ASP and HTML technology and was linked to a MS-SQL database driven LMS. The project included LMS design, database design and querying through web pages.

Aviation Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (AVCATT-A)

This project was to convert an existing CBT course for Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division into a WBT course and link it to an LTI designed LMS system. This WBT is a set of training courses for the familiarization of helicopter simulator training. The existing CBT was used merely as course content since it was an executable program and no source-code was available. The WBT was designed using ASP, HTML and SQL technology. The content pages were designed in a manner so that the content manager could easily edit the course content. The courses were integrated with a MS SQL based LMS where the Training Manager would track the progress & performance of the students and manage student registration. LMS also provides book-marking feature for the students. The end-of-course test questions were also integrated into the LMS so that the training manager could change questions/answers for the tests. All the web pages and the SQL database were remotely deployed on the hosting server.

Student Recruiting Application (SRA)

An Internet database driven student recruiting application(www.therecruitingsource.com) was developed that connects the students with the colleges based on academic, personal, extracurricular abilities. It also helps colleges to search for talented students, to be recruited in the college. Extensive search facilities are provided so that both the colleges and students can search for to match with their criteria. The web site also has some management pages, not accessible to general browsers.

Environmental Management Website

This Environmental Management Web Site was re-designed as a sub-contract from Northrop Grumman using Macromedia’s Cold Fusion. The content is taken from a database and displayed to the users. Security scripts were used to display appropriate data depending if the user was coming from a military network or outside the military network. Management module was also re-worked so that the site manager could affectively maintain/update the web site content.

Nostalgic Sign Company Website

A commercial web application was developed for a nostalgic sign company. The web site is database driven and is capable of processing on-line payments, in real time. The web application also has a management section, not accessible to general browsers, where the product manager can go and add/edit products in the database. This facilitates the manager to update the database from anywhere

Greater Dayton Islamic Society Web Portal

This web portal was developed for Greater Dayton Islamic Society. It has built-in websites for teachers where they can post notices and assignments for students.

Greene County Council on Aging Website

This website was developed so that necessary information can be imparted to the senior citizens of Greene County. All the required information is presented in form of dynamic web-enabled pages. The back-end database is a MS Access database. The web application includes a chat room as well.

Building Management for Bachelor Housing Facilities

This course was developed for US Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering under a subcontract from our prime contract. This project was for the development and production of computer based training course that was ultimately delivered to the Naval Facilities Engineering Command / Headquarters.

This course was developed for US Navy, Naval Facilities Engineering under a subcontract from our prime contract (F41624-00-C-9010 / PROJ0156-S0001 DO5) in Authorware®.

Mays Shedd Inventory System

Mays Shedd has been servicing the automotive aftermarket of greater Dayton area with quality Oil & Lube products. This system enables Mays Shedd employees to create orders, track inventory and print financial and admin reports. The system allows employees to move inventory in Fist in First out manner.

Monthly Inventory Cycle count process was implemented in this system. This process is used to audit the inventory on monthly basis. Application calculates the Tax based upon the shipping information e.g. Zip code and country/region. Application offers to store different levels of pricing and promotion for categorized customers.
